So, will be brief. Comcast's clamp down on BitTorrent, an internet software that allows peer-to-peer (P2P) information transfers between individuals, suggests Comcast might have network capacity problems that its competitors, like Verison, might not have.
This came to mind while reading about Comcasts attempt to deter the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) from further investigations on the legality of Comcast's P2P clampdown. Citizen advocates aren't buying Comcast's "P2P Bill of Rights" slogan. PC World reports:
Two consumer-focused advocacy groups have objected to a P-to-P bill of rights and responsibilities proposed by Comcast and Pando Networks, saying the companies don't have the authority to speak for Internet users.
Much more to be said on this topic at another time.
In the mean time, you might ponder why Comcast requires social security numbers (SSN).

I was under the impression that Comcast was going after Net Neutrality because they want to eventually favor their own pay video streaming.
